12 simple and concrete tips for securing your data

While digital technology is now an integral part of our personal and professional lives, security is rarely taken into account in our daily use. New technologies are ubiquitous, but they also bring many risks that weigh particularly on companies. However, these dangers can be greatly reduced thanks to a set of good practices that are inexpensive or even free and easy to implement in companies.

This is why we would like to highlight a few simple and concrete actions shared within the framework of a partnership between the National Agency for Information Systems Security (ANSSI) and the CPME. These recommendations aim to inform you about the risks and the means to protect yourself in a secure way on a daily basis.

In our white paper "Why and how should CISOs and CIOs collaborate together", we saw that new uses are forcing companies to adapt internally because of the need to create a risk culture and to involve all stakeholders in the various security processes. We can conclude that in order to effectively reinforce the security of your terminals and data, the awareness of the company's employees to the rules of computer hygiene is fundamental. This awareness is especially effective in limiting a large part of the risks.

If you would like to know more about our data protection policy and the dissemination of this risk culture, we invite you to download our white paper below.
