ERCOM is a French company of the THALES group, leader in the design and manufacture of high-tech solutions in the field of cybersecurity.

ERCOM specializes in the security of mobile devices, communications and data exchanges. Ercom is developing a full range of simple and certified solutions (from Cryptosmart®, Cryptobox® and Citadel®) to meet the growing needs of secure communications for businesses.

As part of its activities, the company is looking for a Pre-sales Engineer and Customer Success.

The position is to be filled in Vélizy (78).

 

Description

The Pre-Sales Engineer and Customer Success, as part of the sales team, is in primary interaction with product managers, sales managers, operational, support and marketing teams.

The Pre-Sales Engineer and Customer Success assists sales representatives in their sales process for technical presentations, product demonstrations or the drafting of technical and commercial proposals. It accompanies customers in the handling of solutions during the testing and onboarding phases. It then regularly monitors customers, produces follow-up reports and communication content at their destination. It analyzes their use of solutions, their needs, the difficulties encountered, in order to maximize customer satisfaction and their adoption of solutions.

 

Its main tasks include:

  • Organizing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospects in collaboration with the sales team
  • Qualification of technical needs expressed by customers, suitability of products, and transmission of generic requests to product managers
  • The organisation and smooth running of the product evaluation phases by prospects
  • Contribution to the drafting of commercial proposals (costing, technical solution, planning, etc.) and the updating of commercial technical documentation (presentations, datasheets, etc.)
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction, and as such, organising regular follow-up meetings, preparing reports on the use of solutions, monitoring the resolution of issues encountered by customers, the collection of relevant information and its transmission to the various departments of the company.
  • Development of general or customized communications, as well as simplified use and administration procedures, for clients

 

Experience and knowledge required

  • Experience: Operational and technical experience of 1 to 5 years in the field of computer networks or cybersecurity is required. The candidate has significant customer relationship experience.

Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the characteristics of the Pre-sales and Customer Success businesses
  • Technical knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, computer networks and/or cloud;
  • Knowledge of cryptography is a plus;
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills, autonomy, advocacy, organization, thinking.
  • Academic program: Bac +4/5 issus d'une école d'ingénieurs ou d'un parcours universitaire équivalent.
  • Common English.
